In the City of Heroes game you are able to create your super hero. You can choose the gender, height, weight and clothes your brand new super hero will wear. You are also able to choose from several different power sets.

Power sets are the abilities your super hero will have such as a Tanker, Scrapper, Controller, Defender or Blaster. Each power set comes with it’s own powers.

*A tanker is the beef of a team. Tankers take all the punishment from the bad guys while the rest of the team beats them up.

*A scrapper is the up close fighter. This hero will give out a lot of punishment and be able to take bad guys down quickly.

*A Controller is a hero that can control different aspects of the bad guys. Some controllers can control earth aspect others can control fire or energy.

*A defender is the healer of the group. They can heal other heroes while they fight and if the hero falls in battle the defender can revive them.

*A blaster is a far off fighter. They can throw fire, energy or use a gun. They do get beaten up easily if they are attacked up close.

Online role playing games give people of all ages the ability to step out of their own lives and into a new world. Not only can you play with people you know but you can also play with people from other cities, states and even other countries. It’s a great way to socialize and have fun at the same time.
